NHCA will support its members in reaching out to their political representatives. We will be there for your business whenever it is threatened at the federal, state or municipal level.
Members will receive regular updates on pending legislation and regulations affecting hookah and hookah related products through state and federal news updates. Members will also be provided the most relevant news and insights for improving your business and informing the community.
Hrant Vartzbedian is the Executive Director of the National Hookah Community Association (NHCA) a native of Egypt and a Cafe' & Hookah lounge owner engaged in the Los Angeles community, his relation to Hookah & Shisha Industry over the last decade puts him in the right position to fulfil his responsibilities, his duties include Outreach, Government affairs and Membership.

The NHCA is here to preserve the culture of those communities engaged in Shisha, Nargile', Argile' and Hookah over centuries giving adults the right to choose to smoke Hookah and protect the businesses and their interests.
The indiscriminate flavor bans springing up at City & County levels all over the US are mistakenly mixing e-cigarettes and vape with Hookah, Hookah is not the problem in classrooms according to Governor Newsom of California.
We have an uphill battle to protect our freedom to smoke Hookah, culture and heritage, the NHCA is at the forefront of this battle and needs your support to protect your interests"
